Application Phase
What do I need to submit for the Application Phase?
For the Application Phase, you must submit your proposal using the application form, which includes:
- Summary of the innovative idea
- Innovation Call: improvement of an existing product or new business, product or service
- Context and Market
- Innovation maturity (TRL)
- Intellectual property (IP) asset
- Project timeline
- Financing scheme
Your proposal must be submitted in English.
What is the deadline to apply?
The deadline for your application is indicated on the Evaluation Steps page of this website.
What are the assessment criteria for my submission in the Application Phase?
The judges will evaluate the Application Phase submissions based on the following criteria:
- Originality and innovative content
- Viability of the project (teams, business models, technological solution(s) proposed)
- Potential to have a positive impact on IBA's activities and sectors (in terms of turnover, cost reduction, sustainability, or image for the various players in the sector)
How will I know if my idea has been selected?
You will be notified by email about the outcome of the selection by 2 April 2025.
How can I contact the Call for Ideas administrators for inquiries?
Once you are registered with the portal and logged in, you can send a message to the Call for Ideas administrators.

How can I participate?
You can sign up at https://iba.agorize-platform.com/en/challenges/challenges2024.
Make sure that you confirm your email address. Don’t forget to click "Participate" in order to receive announcements and notifications about the Challenge.
Can I change my details after registering for the challenge?
To update your details, log in, and go to your participant profile to edit or change your details.
How many members are allowed to participate?
In this challenge, only one person should apply and will act as their team representative for the idea in question.
Do I get any updates about the Call for Ideas?
Whenever there is an update, you will receive an email notification from the administrators to your registered email address. This is only applicable to participants in the Call for Ideas.
You can always use the messaging feature and reach out to your program administrator.
What are the eligibility criteria?
Any type and size of organization can take part in the Call for Ideas.
